Depression-Era Chic

Anyone who knows The Skirt knows I am not obsessed with watching and wearing the latest fashion trends. But a few weeks ago, while sorting through some old family photos, I had this thought that soon designers would come out with clothes that look like something Olivia Walton would wear. So, I was only a bit surprised to see this article on the Drudge Report yesterday. It's not really a stretch to see this coming given how some people perceive the current state of affairs in America today.
