Big goings-on at the Spokane fairgrounds this weekend - The 39th Annual Early Ford V-8 Club swap meet and car show. Over 600 vendors and 400 cars are registered. You better go!! KHQ's morning anchor, Dave Cotton interviewed club members Chuck McVey and Annette Long about the event. Dave appears to be a very nice guy. He showed no signs of being perturbed at Chuck when at the end of the interview, as he turns to segue into a commercial break, Chuck's brain kicks in, and he trots off after Dave grabbing for the tail of his suit coat shouting, "hey, hey, one more thing, I need to say one more thing..." (OMG!) Spokane viewing public, did any of that show up on camera? Off-air Mr. Cotton kindly explained to Chuck that he wasn't being rude, but that with "the time restraints of tv and all...." He took down all the information and promised to share it on-air once he got back into the studio.
The Skirt couldn't help but tease Chuck a little. Chuck unaffected by the gaffe basked in his new celebrity at Terry's. Our waitress Trena, who normally wouldn't let Chuck get by with such haughtiness, indulged him with the smile.
