Jay's '66 F-100

Jay Dalman brought in pieces of his '66 Ford F-100 a few weeks ago. The guys are doing the usual rust repair, pulling dents, filling unwanted holes and a little custom body work. Jay is going to put in a wood bed, so the old one's gotta go. Jay admitted to reading this blog, so The skirt hopes he writes about the origins of his beloved truck and gives us more detail on how he plans to restore it.

This truck came out of Ripon California a small farm town near Modesto about six years ago.The rolling chassis is basicly done.I used a 93 Ford 5.0 EFI from Street @ Performance.Backed it up with a T56 6-speed trany with a posi rear end and four wheel disc brakes. The body will look basicly stock with a few tweeks hear and there.Bob and his crew will get the cab one of these days thats where the fun will start. With custom console, tilt wheel, vintage air.custom intake, and a few other goodies.
