The Pomerinke's '55 Crown Victoria
The Pomerinke's sent in this photo of Tim accepting a Best of Show trophy at the Comancheros Cruisn' n' Groovin car show on August 9th. For the first time in the show's four year history they had a three-way tie for Best of Show! Tim & Casey told us the Comancheros were gracious hosts and the club and citizenry of Pinehurst put on one of the most organized shows they have ever been to. The Skirt is not surprised to hear this praise as club president, Paul Wingfield and his team are first-rate individuals. Congrats Tim & Casey, the Comancheros and Pinehurst!
And this makes three! The Pomerinke's sent in this photo of their Mistress on the t-shirt of their home town car show which was held this past weekend. The crowd voted the '55 Crown Victoria as their favorite of the show. Right on!!!
The Inland Empire Mustang Club's annual open car show is Saturday, July 26th at Millwood Park. The city of Millwood loves its trees and they meticulously preserve a very pretty little park. We always bring a picnic lunch along. For more info visit the club web site. Be prepared for sound effects!
Update: 7/25/08 Registration starts at noon! We snapped the above photo at last year's show. Car owners should get there early for the choice spots. This show is well attended. All makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles welcome.
The Pomerinke's sent in a photo they took of their '55 Crown Victoria at the River City Rod Run last weekend. Sweet!
Congratulations go out again to Tim and Casey Pomerinke. Their beautiful black cherry '55 Crown Victoria, the 2007 Best of Show winner at the River City Rod Run will grace the 2008 t-shirt and hold a place of honor at this weekend's show. We also tip our hat to painter Bryce Scott at Scott Motorsports for the car's award winning paint job. Long live the Queen!
